1. The service
HALISI is a record-keeping and custody-tracking service for physical Things. It lets users log events, attach evidence, request confirmations and follow a Thing's Story. HALISI records what users submit. It does not independently verify every fact.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be legally able to enter these terms and provide accurate account information. HALISI is not designed for children as account holders. You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting access to your authentication method.
3. Your records and evidence
You retain rights in content you submit. You grant HALISI a worldwide, limited license to host, process, reproduce and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service. You must have the right to submit descriptions, photos and personal information and must not create deceptive provenance or custody claims.
4. Ownership and custody
Recorded custody means the current holder shown in HALISI. It is separate from ownership. An in-app handover or ownership request changes HALISI's record only after the relevant workflow completes. It does not itself transfer legal title or replace contracts, government registers, customs documents, veterinary certificates or regulatory approvals.
5. AI summaries
AI summaries are convenience aids. They may omit context or describe visible details incorrectly. Users must review them against the original description and photo. The underlying event record is authoritative, not the generated summary.
6. Acceptable use
You must not falsify records, impersonate another person, upload content without permission, traffic unlawful goods, bypass access controls, interfere with the service or use HALISI as the sole basis for high-stakes legal, medical, financial, insurance or safety decisions.
7. Availability and disclaimers
The service is provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, complete records, photo authenticity, legal admissibility or suitability for a specific regulatory purpose. Offline capture reduces connectivity disruption but does not guarantee successful sync until the device reconnects and authentication remains valid.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, HALISI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, lost profits or decisions made from user-submitted or AI-generated content. Any aggregate liability is limited to fees paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Rights that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected.
9. Suspension and termination
We may limit or suspend access to protect users, comply with law, prevent abuse or address material breach. Users may close their accounts, subject to retention needed for shared provenance, security and legal obligations.
10. Governing terms
Before commercial launch, HALISI will identify the contracting entity, governing law and dispute forum appropriate to the user's market. Mandatory consumer and data protection rights in a user's location continue to apply.
